Laura Darling

Well, quite the adventure my life turned out to be! Ten years abroad all over the world, BA & MA at UW- Madison (Go Badgers!) and that foreign dude who took off after my daughter with Down's Syndrome was too much for him. I'm doing great in wonderful Madison again, enjoying the single's scene after 17 years of marriage.


The reunion was amazing! Many thanks to Laura and Tara for organizing the event, and to Dave for the after party. By far the highlight of the night for me was talking to Larry about his special needs son. He is blessed to have such wonderful parents as Larry and Melissa.

Funny, I told Sr. Pearson "Why do I have to study Spanish, I'll never use it?" Karma always has us work on the negative energy we put out.

P.S. I'm not the only one from the class of '88 who is fluent in Spanish: I spoke with Toby at the reunion, his Spanish is excellent! Then there is Mary Ryan and French! Gracias Sr. Pearson for planting the seeds of language learning at GHS.
