After Galena High I attended University of Dubuque and I received a BS in Education. I then moved to Madison Wisconsin where I lived for 5 years. I taught in Madison and also worked as a nanny. I loved everything about Madison and hated to leave but Randy and I had an opportunity to open our own CNC machine shop. That business is why we moved back to the area. Since moving back besides the machine shop I also was a substitute teacher at Galena Primary School. I was the parent volunteer at Montessori where Sammy attended grade K. He now attends Nativity BVM where I volunteer in the library. I am also the sub for "Baby Talk" a program at the East Dubuque library.
I have had a lot of fun adventures throughout the years. I went to the 1999 New Years Eve ball dropping in New York. I have been to the Macys Thanksgiving Day parade in New York. I was able to snowmobile across Yellowstone the last year you were able to go on your own.
I am a bit of a "homebody" now I love to watch TV. This may sound lame but, I am a wiz at tv trivia. I love to read mysteries, do crossword puzzles and read to my son. I like to go camping, go to museums, go to farmers markets, go to concerts( I still go and see INXS), going to garage sales. etc. My greatest passion is cooking. I taught myself everything and I still love to learn new things. Yes, the Food Network is one of my fave channels.
One last thing,I love all things 80's. I love hearing music or seeing an 80's theme tv show. My sisters friend calls me the 80's Queen.
