Dean Warren Johnson, 57, of Wake Forest, passed Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Wake Med. Dean was born November 5, 1952 in Lodi, CA to the late Howard W. Johnson and Marion Dryden Johnson. He was proud of his 12 years of service in the United States Air Force. Dean worked as a Peace Officer with the California Youth Authority and also was a member and served on the staff of Faith Baptist Church of Knightdale.
 

A Memorial Service was held at 12:00 noon Monday, November 8, 2010 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
 

He is survived by his wife, Nancy R. Johnson, sister Sharon Schmitz and her husband Ken, twin sister Beth Johnson, step daughter Cynthia Batchelder, and sister-in-law Liz Dixon. Nieces and Nephews: Myrna Sanders, Mark Pratton, Morris Pratton, Mathew Pratton, Cheryl Ann Brown, Kenneth Schmitz, Jr., Timothy Schmitz, Jamie Stefun, Calvin Jones, Anne Crutchfield
 

In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Pratton and by his step-son, Eric Batchelder.
