Thanks for the kind words, Kurt. The website really was not that hard to set up. I was glad to do it, and I will continue it as long as people find it useful. Paul, Pat, and Steph did all the leg work on the dinner, place etc. My thanks to them. It is hard to do those types of things from up here.

Just finished it, Kurt.

FYI all- It's about 65-70 degrees out here in beautiful N. California. What's the temp back there in KS????

Headed to SF tomorrow for some Clark Griswold touristy stuff- Pier 39, Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge, Cable Cars, Lomard St. etc. Then to Pac Bell AKA- AT&T Park for the Giants v. Braves game.

Will have some pics posted from this aweseome vacation soon.

Hi boys and girls,

It's almost thanksgiving; who is going to be around over the holiday? Any desire to get together? At least one of you owes me a sponge bath!!!! :)

Pat Klausmeyer

I only bathe people who are in need (not imposters in turtle shells).

Getting together over Thanksgiving sounds great. Saturday night maybe??

Hi All,
I never did say thank you to everyone who planned the reunion. You did an awesome job. Thanks so much for all you did to get everything together. It was so great to see everyone. It felt more like a family reunion than a class reunion. I loved the laid back atmosphere too. Lot's of time to talk and catch up. When it was over I realized there was so much more I would have liked to ask about and find out about everyone. Looking forward to the next one.
Keep us posted about the get together at Thanksgiving or Christmas. I will see what I can do. Thanksgiving may not work. I've persuaded Bob & Donna into taking care of all 5 kidos while Rick and I go to St. Thomas from Sat. - Wed. before Thanksgiving. We will be back, but I'm pretty sure my family won't be offering to keep the kids after 5 days alone with them. I'm just hoping they are still speaking to me when we get back. Ha! : )

Hey Turtle, I'm glad you have completely recovered!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Blessings, Julie

I think we will be having our family Christmas that day. If we can, we might try to sneak away later. We'll have to play it by ear. I would love to see you all.

I will be in Wichita area from the 22-28 so Saturday the 27th sounds great. I am in for whatever you all would like to do. My cell is 785-448-8494 so please call if I do not contact anyone before. I will be staying at Kay's, and let's just say she does not know what the internet is - so I will have no access to this website.

Julie, I will bring my turtle shell just for you!!

Oh, the 27th will be very close to Pat K's 40th birthday - so it will be a grand event.

Joel :)

My ADHD kicked in and I forgot the most important thing: I been working on some new verses of the ever popular "Stephanie Menis" song. With any luck, it will be ready for the radio before we all get together :)

VJ,

Your ADHD AND Alzheimer's must have kicked in, as you and Pat K are approaching 39, not 40. Did you have that turtle shell strapped on too tight??

We will try and make it Sat. not sure yet. Gretchen and I are driving, yes driving, to Phoenix, AZ for the KU Bowl game Dec. 29, so I'm not sure if she will be working, etc. We will be attending the game with some people we tailgate with and Jerry and Elaine Gerber. Jan and his wife were going to go, as well, but their babysitters decided they were going instead!!

Had a great time last summer at the reunion. It's been fun maintaining contact with some of you since. Hope to continue, and that it's not 20 more yrs. again.......

Happy Holidays to everyone.
TC

We will not be attending Sat. night. Will have outlaws (sister-in-law and family) at our house this weekend.

Paul, thanks for the invite. Hope everyone has a great holiday, and a happy new year.

Hi Everyone
I just wanted to pass on some info that I got on my GPE email. This is just copy and pasted straight from my email.
Shelly

I am asking for prayers for a friend. Some of you may remember Rick Baker
who taught and coached at GPHS in the late 80's and early 90's. He and
Steph's oldest daughter Kaci's little girl has been diagnosed with cancer.
Their grandaughters name is Lily and she is 2 1/2 years old.

I just wanted to get the prayers out there and if anyone is interested in
following her progress, they are posting updates on the Carepages website.
You can also send them messages of encouragement on this site. I know they
would appreciate your prayers.
