Dana:  Just wanted to give you an update on one of our "missing", Rebecca Ann (May) Taylor. "Becky" passed away back a few months ago.  Her first husband, Gerald Taylor, also passed away a couple weeks ago. SHe had remarried to Randy Queen but was divorced from him also.  Just thought I would let someone know and they could delete her from "missing" list.  Sherry P. Carson

I now live in Clayton ,N.C. and a few miles from me is Garner, N.C. where a classmate of ours lived. He did live in Raleigh,N.C. and I would stop by and see him on the way from our beach house to Duke Hospital. Then he moved to Garner,N.C. about 9 months ago and I moved to Clayton, N. C. in January. Today I went to visit him a few miles from my house and I was met at his door by his wife’s son n law. I asked to see Dan Carter and was told he died Christmas. This post is to let our classmates know what I know. I will try to get dates. He found out a few weeks before he died that he had colon cancer.  This was a shock!   Darrell

That was truly a shock to me, and especially to you, Darrell.  I remember him riding my school bus and he was always so neat. My condolences to his family and friends.

This is to let everyone know that I stopped by Dan Carter’s house and had a visit with his wife LaRue. She said he started getting sick in October with throat Cancer and it spread to to liver,pancreas,spleen and colon. His birthday was November 8th and he passed away on November 12th. LaRue told me he was 75 years old. Would someone please put this on this on his page so we know his date of death.
