Juanita C. Rawlins Klostermeyer

Paul, Sr., and I divorced in 1985. My last husband of only two years was R. C. Klostermeyer, who died on February 10, 2010. After his death I moved to Shelby, NC, in order to be closer to family members.

During the last 50 years I've lived in numersous places: Gastonia, NC; Cherryville, NC; Shelby, NC; Charleston, WV; Conyers, GA; Decatur, AL; Connelly Springs, NC; Bella Vista, AR; and finally back to Shelby, NC, in 2010!

I mostly did clerical and administrative work during my career from July, 1961, until February, 2008.

I would liked to have gone to college, but my parents couldn't afford it. I retired from clerical and administrative work in 2008. I am now enjoying singing in the choir and attending the seniors group on Tuesday mornings at Calvary Baptist Church in Shelby. I go to many of the senior dances in Gastonia & Dallas, & at the senior center in Shelby. To keep more fit, I walk about 2 miles on most days of the week. My greatest pleasure is spending time with my sons, their wives, and my grandchildren!

My faith in Christ and my family are the most important things in my life!

I look forward to attending our 50th A.H.S. renunion and seeing many of my former classmates!
