Jerry Lynn Moore

Living in Summerville, SC for the last 18 years. Married in 1966 to Rita Corn. July 2, 2020, we celabrated 54 years of marriage. We have 2 children, Christy Lynn and Scott Ashley. Spent Most of my business life working for big companies as a Human Resource Manager for 30 years. Ran a family manufacturing business for 10 years. Have been involved in the construction industry as a Residential and General Contractor for 7 years. Retired in 2013. Enjoyed playing tennis last several years. Had a second hip replacement in 2017 which has slowed me down. Had open heart surgery in May 2020 and had 5 bypass replaced. Still recovering from that surgery but I am making steady progress to getting back on the tennis courts in the next month or so.

No big school stories. Played sports most of my school and high school years. Wanted to play professional baseball, but reality set in when I got to college that I needed a degree to pursue a business career and forget about sports. Tennis became my passion in my 40's and I still love to play as much as my body will allow. I still enjoy the competitive matches, but unfortunately the competition is how long will my body hold up. Had a hip replaced December 1992 and a second hip replacement in Feb.28, 2017 and so far they have served me well. No more pain thank God. Speaking of God. We accepted Jesus as our Lord and Saviour in 1974 and we are keeping the faith. I love God and my wife. Without Him, I would not have either. We have been blessed over our life and without Him we would have nothing. Love you guys and look forward to seeing you in 2021.
