NANCY MERRILL WILLIS
GASTONIA — Nancy Merrill Willis, 57, died May 11, 2004, at her home.
She was a native of Gaston County, daughter of the late George G. Willis Jr. and Helen Turner Willis.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Friday, First ARP Church
INTERMENT: Gaston Memorial Park
VISITATION: One hour before service, church fellowship hall
Nancy worked as a speech therapist for Gaston County Schools and retired in 1999 after almost 30 years of service. She received her BS from Winthrop University and her Masters from Gardner Webb University; she was a lifelong member of First ARP Church; she was a wonderful friend to many people.
SURVIVORS: Her brother and sister-in-law, George and Jo Ella Willis of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; aunts, Betty Willis of Gastonia, Nancy Willis Massey of Gastonia; niece, Lisa Merrill Willis of Columbia, S.C.; nephew, George G. Willis IV of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; close companions during her illness, Angeline Robinson, Harriet Campbell and Theoria Page
