Formerly of Gig Harbor, passed away on 8/2/01 in Alexandria, Egypt.  He was born on 4/27/51 in Seattle. Colin's family moved to Gig Harbor when he was 14 and he attended Peninsula High School. He joined the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam war. Colin was formerly married to Penny Jones and has two sons, Jeremy and Chris Ritchie of Gig Harbor. He leaves behind a father, George Ritchie, and two brothers, Evan and Jon Ritchie, and their families. Colin spent his adult life in the boat industry working for Aerojet General, Tacoma Boat, Sonat Off-Shore, Loral Sonar Systems and Lockheed Martin. Colin will be remembered for his good humor, love of music and willingness to help others. He had a talent for being able to fix anything.
