Tell us a little bit about your life after graduation.
Hmm, not very much room for a summary of the past ten years…. Oh well, here goes……..
After graduation at DGF, I decided to travel abroad and see the sights! Here and there I went, learning what I could at every chance I could get! A month in Italy, and then across the world to Chile for the summer! I did my best to go everywhere and see everything. And then one day, as I was traveling via ship (I worked in the luggage area usually, in exchange for free passage and the occasional beverage from the beautiful servers that were always hitting on me.) when all of a sudden, we were caught in a giant hurricane (they call them typhoons over there.) All I really remember of that night was digging thru various hand bags one minute, and using a full sized carry-on as a boat the next.
After waking up on some remote island, I found myself surrounded by natives. But luckily for me, years prior a bearded white man had given them all new socks and Laffy Taffy. So they declared me their chief on the spot. Now, being used to western civilization and all, I figured I could help these poor souls out. That way, I wouldn’t have to join the peace corps or anything, and I could still feel pretty good about all the starving babies out there. So anyways, I pulled out my bag of unroasted coffee beans (its always better to bake your own, that’s what Alton Brown says) and tought them the many facets of a good cup of joe. Interestingly enough, there happened to be a type of plant there they chewed on to make them happy and it blended very well with the beans to make a hella good cup of the dark stuff. Unfortunately it is only legal in Amsterdam and Japan, but that was enough for us to really get our corporation off the ground.
I hate to carry on over the day-to-day activities of Bradycorp, but the short story of it is that I sold out the company to Folgers back a few years ago, turns out they went underground with it and very few people will ever get to try my select blend.
So now, I live back in Fargo and do recycling for the city for fun. Along with that, I am dating a lovely young lady by the name of Jessica. We have many common interests and are very happy together. Other than that, I am always looking for new opportunities and exciting propositions!! Hopefully this letter finds you all in good health and humor and we have to opportunity to catch up at the reunion.
