Dear Classmate:

Dear Classmates:

We pray that everyone is doing well during this challenging public health emergency.

The GHS Class of 1980 40th Reunion Committee thanks you for your patience concerning our 40thClass Reunion. The committee has decided to postpone the Class Reunion for Memorial Day Weekend 2020 to another date. We are concerned about your health and environmental safety, because of the coronavirus.

We continue to plan the reunion and to notify you of the updated reunion information. A registration form will be generated on the class website for you to download and fill out.

Information about our reunion will be on our Class website and Facebook, but you can only download the registration form from the Class website.

Please notify other classmates who have not registered on our Class Website and Facebook.

Also, we have a GoFundMe page for you to donate to scholarship fund. As in past years, the scholarship funds will be presented to Dillard/Goldsboro alumni and awarded to a deserving GHS senior.

Click here to donate on GoFundMe page: https://bit.ly/2U6rXtk

Click here for our Class website: www.goldsboro80.com

Your health, and safety is our concern while making these decisions.

Reunion Committee

Dear Classmates:

Last year (2020) has been a difficult time for everyone in the world. We had an opportunity to reflect on what is important in our lives. We have reconnected with people whom we have not heard from in years. We have reminiscence about the neighborhood, school days, and reunions, and discussed the present and future events. We have lost several classmates, relatives and friends this past year. As we navigate the challenges posed by COVID-19, the committee is thankful for all the ways you have offered moral support through these difficulty times.

Your health, and safety has been our concern during this pandemic. Even though, we do not know when our class reunion will be held.  We can still prepare to give to our Scholarship Fund. We need your support to educate and empower future leaders to make a difference in communities here in Goldsboro and beyond.

We have a GoFundMe page for you to donate to scholarship fund. As in past years, the scholarship funds will be presented to Dillard/Goldsboro alumni and awarded to a deserving GHS senior.

Good News!

Kim and Walter Krentz, Jr. had their first grandchild.

First Grandchild

You will always be the ONE who took my heart by surprise. Loving so completely, you are perfection in my eyes. Dreams of you and me will fill me with delight. But nothing could compare to the first time, I held you so tight. Overwhelming love, greater than I knew. Wrapped in pride and joy and all the riches of you. You will always be the FIRST, a true blessing from above. You will always be the grandbaby who filled hearts and souls with love.

Congratulations from the GHS Class of 1980.
