I attended NDSU-Bottineau after high school. I played hockey and baseball for the Lumberjacks and won a national championship in 1991. I then attended UND for 4 years. I played 1 year of Hockey for the Sioux in 1992 but I played 2 years of baseball going to the Division 2 world series the second year and being a tri-captain. I graduated from UND in 1995. I tried to continue my baseball career by going up to Winnepeg, MB to try out for the Winnepeg Goldeyes. They are an independant baseball team in AA. I was released from that team and traveled 36 hours on a greyhound bus, to Chillicothe, Ohio to try out for the Paints in the Frontier League where I made the team and played for them for 2 summers. I stayed in Ohio and worked for a Budweiser distributor in sales and special events. I moved back to GF in 2000 working in the local Budweiser Distributor. I then moved to Bismarck, ND that summer to once again work at a Budweiser Distributorship driving a truck and delivering product. I got married 11 days after 911 which was tricky because my wife's aunt lives in New Jersey and it was hard traveling. I then changed jobs back to a sales position with an oil distributor and traveled throughout the state selling oil and oil products to car dealerships and c-stores. I was presented an opportunity in 2006 to work for the Wrigley Sales Company (Chicago) selling Big Red, Extra, and Orbit. I market the new and existing brands to Wal-Mart, grocery stores and c-stores. I travel approximately 5000 miles per month, but satellite radio comes in handy to stay awake. Moving back to ND was the best thing for me because raising my family in ND is safe, quiet, and I enjoy the Missouri river.
