If you are in the Grand Rapids area now through the end of August (2014), check out an Art Exhibit by GRCHS alumna Irene Bakhuyzen Wordhouse. She has done a series of large expresive geometric abstracts prompted by the illness and death of her husband, Frank, from brain cancer. She has also included selected paintings of her realistic art. Irene is an award-winning member of Grand Valley Artists and of the Great Lakes Pastel Society.
