Susan was my buddy in Junior High and at Smith. Our families attended Glenwood Methodist Church and we were in youth group together for years. (Her stepbrother, Cleve Anthony, was one of our classmates.) We had some great times together. She was a dear friend. The last time I saw Susan was about 18-19 years ago at Brenda Hill's funeral (our friend and classmate from Smith). She and Brenda got me to take my first drag off a cigarette and take my first drink of liquor. I got physically ill both times. Susan was residing in Winston-Salem when I saw her and had two sons whom she loved dearly and seemed to be very proud of them. Her married name was Enscore. She told me then that since she had found me she would never lose touch again. Sadly we never saw each other or spoke again. Though I tried to contact her a couple of times unsuccessfully, I regret I did not stay in touch. I wasn't aware of her death until connecting to this website, therefore I have no details. I hope I will see her again one day when my time here on earth expires. That will be a GREAT reunion!
