 Reunion Update – 10-6-09 

The reunion is only 4 days away !!! Check the web site frequently so you will be up to date with the latest information. GHS Class of 1979 we can not wait to see you !!!
 
Friday October 9, 2009
 
·        Grimsley / Page Golf Tournament – this is an annual event which raises money to benefit both schools. It is great fun and you are sure to see past friends from our class and those before and after.  To register click on the home page link.

·        Grimsley / Page Football Game – The GHS / Page Game begins at 7:30 PM. We will have tents set up for the Class of 1979 on the grassy area in front of the gym. Come and socialize. We will start the tailgate at 6:15 PM. Bring your own food, chairs, blankets. We will have Whirlie Wear - GHS T-shirts, hats , trinkets etc that you can purchase. All proceeds are donated to GHS. Tickets will be on sale at the entrance to the staduim.
 
·        Meeting at the Corner (8:00 – until) – The corner of Elam and Walker is the place to be. There are several restaurants & Bars – Blind Tiger, Sticks and Stone (owned by classmate Neil Reitzel), The Lindley Park Filling Station and WAHOO’S ( formerly Hooray Harry’s). If you are coming after the game, meet at Sticks and Stones around 9:30- 10:00 PM and join up with other classmates. "Other Mothers" will be playing at the Blind Tiger - several other Page / GHS reunions are on the same night so plan to see lots of friends.

·        Class Reunion at the " Regency Room" at the Empire Room 10/10/09 – The reunion will begin at 7:00 PM with a cocktail buffet. There will be heavy appetizers, a cash bar, music, decorations and some surprises. The Empire Room is beautiful and directions are on the website see “Register GHS reunion”. Dress Attire can be from casual to dressy casual.

·        Payment is due by September 27, 2009– The cost is $65 per person and that includes the cost incurred by the committee to set up websites on classcreator.com and classmates.com. as well as other costs for the Empire Room, food, decorations and entertainment. We need to submit a final count to the Empire Room by 10/5/09. After 9/27/09 - The cost at the door will $75.
 
      The Class Creator Website has provided us with a list of everyone who has paid. This list will be used to register you at the door. You will receive a confirmation e-mail once you pay.
