Got an e-mail from Bill Hohenwarter informing me that Billy had passed some time ago. He heard it from Billy's sister but I don't have any other details. I remember Billy from junior high days and he was always a cool guy with a great sense of humor.

I remember seeing Billy at some parties in the early 1980's near Spring Garden Street. He had a great personality and was always fun. We hung around some way back when and he had a lot of things he could tell you about that had happened to him growing up. I remember we used to walk everywhere because we didn't drive yet. He lived at one time in some apartments off of West Market Street.Cheryl Luteman
Yeah, Billy was always a cool kid... we smoked cigarettes (and sometimes, pot) on the brick wall surrounding Hester's Nursery every morning before homeroom. Sometimes we hung out together away from school, at parties & at Choosie Mother's Foosball parlor.I saw him occasionally after he went on to Smith and I, to Grimsley. I remember him telling me a few times that he had a tough home-life, something about his father or step-father(?) being really hard on him. Later, I remember hearing that he died of a drug overdose, but I don't know that absolutely. Regardless, he died way too young. God Bless you, Billy...
