Ogden Spruill
Hi everyone!
I am so sorry that i didn't make it. I have been battling illness for a while, and I had worked up this anxiousness, didn't sleep last night, and so I overslept. It's funny, but this group is the group I had been looking forward to seeing. There are so many memories here, so many people who truly mean alot to me. Since I have been back in Greensboro, many of my high school classmates have not stayed in touch simply because they didn't want to deal with my health issues--they were afraid, I guess, that it wouldn't end well. But no one at Lindley. I go to physical therapy over by Lindley so I pass by it 3 times a week. I think about all of you each time. The athlete, the trumpeter, the bass clarinet player, the computer wizard (although back then there were no computers--LOL), and Mr. Personality. I think about the most beautiful girl, my best friend, my sister, etc., basically, all my real first and true friends. You all mean alot to me and it goes beyond color, religion, status. I am truly sorry I missed the event of the year, but I will be optimistic and do my best to get back to you. Thank you so much for being friends, and know that I will always think of each of you and carry you with me, and I will always try to do good whenever and wherever I can. One day, I think you will be surprised and it will happen here.
Regards,
Ogden
