I married Thomas Lowdermilk on Sept 6 1980. We met in 1977 through our parents. We are very happy and will celebrate our 28th aniversary this year. I went to GTI (now GTCC) after high school for dental assisting and worked in a dental office until the birth of my daughter in 1981. I then became a stay at home mom for about 14 years and had two more children. I became a substitute teacher in 2000 for the Guilford County School system to have a more flexible schedule. Then last year (2007) I took a teacher assistant position at Gateway Education Center in Greensboro.I have been relocated to Haynes Inman Education Center in Jamestown N.C. I work with special needs children. They are 8 to 12 years old and are so sweet! When I am not working , My husband Tom and I are loving time with our two daughters and son.Our oldest,Cristy is 29. and has given us a beautiful grandaughter,Sydnee. She is expecting another little girl June 8,2011. Our middle daughter Michelle, has an adorable little boy,Cameron.He is 7months old. Our son Kyle, graduated from Western Carolina University in May,2010.He recently got a job with Flowers Baking Co. this past September and is still living at home.We are also lucky to have added two great son in laws to our family,Clint and Troy; as well as a new baby, Gizmo who is a Japanese Chin/ Poodle mix and is spoiled rotten!
