Wow, is this ever unexpected and tragic news. I can't think of a better guy and constant friend. Condolences to all.

Nick was one of my closest friends at Page. If you overheard him talking about subjects he favored- like girls at the beach and rock and roll- you might have thought he was one dimensional. But that's hardly the case. He came from an interesting and welcoming family. As an example of welcoming, I remember once going into his house to make a sandwich for myself when he wasn't even there. Nick's the first person I would have called if I needed someone I could count on. As others have said in ther memories, he was quick witted and funny. We had dozens of things that made us laugh. Like Steve Martin, Nick used to joke that his cat was stealing from him at night. Impressively, Nick could make an open field football tackle around the ankles. He taught me how to play the guitar. He forgave me when I go a little too interested in his girlfriend. I could go on, but I'll just say that his too short life is a loss. He's missed.
Michael had a great smile and a quick wit. He made more than one school we attended a better place to be.
