Sometime's it's hard to believe it's *only* been 20 years. After PHS I lived in Athens GA for a while and then returned to Greensboro for a few years where I got into publishing.

Moved out to San Francisco to launch a few magazines (PC Gamer, Next Generation, Gamespot, Videogamespot, IGN PC) and a television show (Extended Play) and stayed for seven years.

Took a game development job in Australia, got laid off when the company shut its doors, hung out in the Solomon Islands for a while, got married in Maui, then found another development job in Vancouver where we've started our own little clan of Canadians.

Last year I took a new job with Ubisoft in Montreal and I've been shuttling back and forth between Paris and Quebec ever since.

Update (2015): Left Quebec a few years back to take a job on Oahu. When the contract ended and I got ready to move to the next location (Shanghaii) my family staged a revolt. Since then I've moved to teaching at the same private school my daughters attend and focused on staying still for a while.

There's so many crazy driving moments that come together in a blur for me when I think back on PHS...

For the record, I still won't drive.
