Connie Grimes Haggard

gosh.....alot! I've raised my two children mostly in Tucson, AZ. and lived there for 27 years. My husband was a pilot in the Air Force so we moved often, but I always enjoyed the moves and new places to see. I've gotten to travel to Asia, Africa and Europe. In 1991 as a widow, I lived in Japan teaching ESL and working for the Dept. of Defence in accounting at Camp Zama, Japan.
What a great experience that was! I also loved teaching in AZ and KY. Now that I'm retired, I'm getting caught up on all my reading at last! as it's my favorite thing to do, other than visit friends and family.

oh me.....there are so many wonderful memories!
and great fun! I'll always remember my first big crush in 9th grade with Billy Harbison (senior then)
and how much fun we had dating...hey Taylor twins, remember that hayride on the levy when you both razzed Billy and me for smoochin'..ha, I do! Another time, we got stuck in the mud(gumbo) at the haunted house with some of the Clarksdale basketball team (we had just beat them!) and had to have a farmer pull us out of a ditch with his tractor.....I got home at 2 am and boy was I in trouble!!! no cell phones then to call home....wow...those were th days..lol
