Linda Hoffman Whitacre

Jim and I were married in 1966 and have been married for 58 years. Since graduating from Miss State we have lived in 7 different states (MS, VA, TN, IL, GA, CA, NC, GA) ending up in Georgia for the last 34 years. For 32 years I worked in the education field as a teacher, media specialist, and school administrator and also at the Georgia Dept of Education. I retired from education in December 2010. Jim and I love to travel and have been to some amazing places. Yearly, we take our grandchildren on Great Adventures from the age of 6 to 18. We see the world through their eyes and have the best time with them. We have a very strong relationship with each of them..

The trip to Monterrey, Mexico with Ms Christman and Mr. Hall set my furture in motion. That's where Jim and I met and the rest is history. Anyone else remember that wild and crazy trip?
