Linda, your announcement got posted on the home page. That is a feature anyone can do if they want to post a message for all classmates. You submit your post through the post announcement tab in the left column and then after it gets processed it appears in the middle section of the home page.

Hey classmates,
I've just got the call from Baptist hospital rehab and
they are ready for Lauren. It has taking three months of pushing and calling to get to this point. the nursing center will take her down next week. Lauren will do two weeks at Baptist rehab and then down to timber ridge for the year.

I would like to thank everyone for their prayer, and their help. Special thanks to Dr Sean Mcdougal for seeing Lauren and taking good care of her. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone soon. Keeps us in your prayers.

Dave

Well Kelly you were right, the Bulldogs won Friday night. I can't recall any of the cheers, can you refresh our memory.

I was checking out Lisa Hamby Lynn's pictures, You haven't changed a bit Lisa.

Homecoming is Oct. 9th, that is when the majority has expressed an interest in getting together for the game. If you are planning on coming and are also interested in getting together for a cookout or something on saturday let me or Mike know (or post it on here) so we can get a head count for planning purposes. I would also like to express that alot of us are local, so if you can't make that game but are going to be in town another time and want to get together just let us know.

I'm sad to say that we have added another classmate to the memory section, Frankie Porter died last Sunday, we do not know the cause of death but I added his obit to the memory page.

Phillip that is sad. Sorry to hear that. Thank you for keeping us updated.
I just got a phone call from Kenny Lee. Remember him?? We have actually worked together off and on for the last 5 yrs or so and just figured out today that we knew each other. At any rate he wants to get on here and see everyone, can you help me out?

Hello everyone.Hope 2010 is treating you good. We are having a rough time here in Ca. as unemployment is hovering around 10 percent. We have seen many families and some friends lose jobs and homes. Our family has been consumed with my son Andrew's battle with cancer for the past year that we really have focused very little on the economy of the day. Andrew has victory for the time being and i guess some of the economic issues are setting in. Most recent local news that Sam's will be shutting stores is quite shocking. If the number one retailer has problems how bad are the rest?

01/26/10 09:34 AM #509

Kelly Hamlin (Kramer)

Mike: Thanks for letting us know about your son Andrew. I will pray for him and I am sure others will too.

Pam: I too had a great time the other night. Hope we do that again soon.

A big thanks to all who planned the bowling get together!

Mike it is good to hear from you. We will definitely pray for your son. The economy is in pretty bad shape everywhere.I hope everyone emerges from it with their jobs, or at least with a new job. I know Pam experienced it but has recently went back to work with a new company. PJ has experienced it as well.

I trust everyone around here has alot of snow this morning. I think this is the first real snow we have had in a long time. It's pretty and everything but I'm ready for it to be gone now.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Mike you have my prayers for your son. Faith can move mountains and Christ heals us with his stripes.
I'm sure he is a little trooper with a big heart.
May God watch over your whole family and help you all through this with a glorious victory!!!! 0:-)

Sorry everyone for all the snow, my neighbors said I brought all this down here with me when I moved back.... LOL!!!! I just got back from Kansas the other day and they still had some snow from Christmas on the ground, so I felt lucky and was glad to get back to somewhat warmer temps..... BUURRRR IT WAS COLD THERE !!!

My prayers go out to everyone that has lost their jobs and are having trouble finding another one. It's crazy out there and it's hard to tell what our future holds for our children and grand children.... All we can do is our best at what ever we do..... and hold on tight :)

Happy Birthday Margo, Randy, Tammy and Porky! Hope you all have great days.

Thanks to Sean McDougal for my pretty new teeth. If any of you want a fool-proof diet tip.... Get dentures! I've finally lost the last 20 pounds that have been hanging on. I'm down to 115 finally! Seriously, Sean, you did beautiful work. Stay warm all.

So Sad about Stacey. that is terrible news and another blow to our class of "83"

03/08/10 03:53 AM #515

Monica Heiss (Morkemo)

I just saw the news about Stacey. Does anyone know about the funeral or any other details? Stacey and I were friends and I'd appreciate any info. God rest her soul.

The way I understand it, there isn't going to be a viewing or service. That is what Stacey's Mom told Sandra.

I just heard about Stacey. I know she is in a better place now and I pray for her family.
