After Cuba, I moved to several states, then married a Marine I had met in Cuba (Paul Deojay). I was a fire fighter in Sun Valley, Idaho as well as a 911 Operator and Dispatcher. I also owned my own fire extinguisher business before an injury force me to move to Key West, Florida (with Laurie Diaz). After recovering from surgery I went back to Louisiana (where my Mom & Dad is from) and started over. I had 2 beautiful boys in 2002 and 2006, and then married my best friend in 2008! Kevin and I plan on traveling and we are currently in the start up process of our own business. We moved to Texas after hurricane Ike and are happy living in Baytown with our 2 boys.

I just miss the environment of living in GTMO, the beaches and my friends. I fussed and fussed when it was time to move there, but then I cried when I had to leave. Cuba was a big part of my life and I will never forget the time I spent there or the people who was in my life while I was there. I can't wait for the reunion although I will miss some of the people who can not attend and who have passed away since graduation.
