I left GTMO in December 1991 and moved to Alabama for the rest of my 10th grade year. My father and mother left GTMO 3 or 4 months later and he got stationed in Staten Island, New York. Well I was having too much fun in Alabama so my parents insisted I move to New York with them. Spent my 11th grade year in Staten Island I got involved in a 1 week work and 1 week attend school program up there. I got a job with First Boston Corporation in Manhattan at The World Trade Center, 5 World Trade Center to be exact. The weekend prior to the first bombing I was out snowboarding and broke my leg and was not able to get into the city for work. During that time is when they hit the Trade Center, I thank God he was looking out for me or I might not be here today. For my Senior year I moved back to Alabama and graduated in 1994 right on time :). My parents got stationed in Virginia Beach, Virginia and I moved up there after I finished High School.
