School Story:
Moved to Virginia Beach in 1970, followed by my Dad retiring in 1971. Graduated from River Valley High in Marion OH. Went to nursing school, got married, had 3 children. Got divorced.
Remarried 2000, my husband graduated from LCMS seminary in Ft Wayne IN. We are currently in small town Secor, IL at St John's Lutheran Church. This is our retirement plan:) All three kids are in Ft Wayne. none married, no grandkids, just three grandpuppies. Added to our five dogs when they visit things get really interesting.
My favorite part of living in Gtmo was the friends I made. Pat Duffus, Addys Wright and I lived close together in the trailer park. They were my best friends. Taking swimming lessons for physical education was not my most fond memory, I wasn't ready to jump off the high dive and had help making up my mind. Going swimming at the pool and beaches was fun. Lillian Diaz and Billy Sweeney were part of the group of friends that did things together. Living there was one of the highlights of my life, a very special place with the greatest friends.
