Judith Emmons Brett

I have traveled the open seas for months at a time, hiked some very high mountains and traveled to foreign lands but I still love being right here in in my old home, Pass-A-Grille. And I so look forward to seeing everyone in October if not before.

I always wanted to be an interior designer and after Gerd Roe and I "decorated" my room my parents realized it was meant to be and drove me to the UofF that September after graduation to study Architecture. But not before I spent that summer in Canada to visit friends and be a bridesmaid in Susie Weston's wedding there. I ended up graduating from FSU in Interior Design 10 years later after Chris (Brett) and I married my second year at UofF - he was at FSU. I spent all of my career years there in Tallahassee with my own firm designing and eventually developing as well, but was fortunate to design and develop projects all over the State. I love being at home; entertaining, cooking, gardening and painting but I have been known to leave those things for months while traveling or spending the summers out West. I am most at home around the water and boats have been a passion. I have always followed my heart and therefore I have been blessed to have a bliss filled life thus far. Currently I am living in my home of Bogie years; designing a little and selling commercial real estate.
