Dear Classmates,

Believe it or not, it has been 50 years since we graced the halls of good old Hampton High School. No, you did not read that wrong - it's been 50 years!! Let's celebrate this milestone by getting together for our 50th Class Reunion!

The Grand Event will take place the weekend of September 27, 2024: On Friday night September 27, 2024, we will gather inside the hallowed halls of ye olde Hampton High School. Yes, that's right, we're going back to school!  We thought it would be fun to see how the last 50 years have treated our alma mater! Since many of us haven't even set foot back in the school since we left, we thought it would be fun to walk through the halls again; locate our lockers {If they are still even there) and revisit the gymnasium where we battled so hard for our Bulldog victories. The dress for this event will be very casual and relaxed. Classmates and their spouses/guests will meet at 5;00PM at the school cafeteria to begin the festivities.  We will first check out all our old "favorite and familiar" places, then we will progress back to the cafeteria - yes, the old cafeteria. where we always found out the latest news on our buddies, to share a meal.  Remember, we may be in our 60s now, but we're still not too old to eat!  The meal will include chicken, baked beans, potato salad, rolls, drinks, and dessert. No music, no dancing. just ourselves entertaining each other with memories and tales of our high school days and beyond. The cost for this event is $7.50 per person or $15.00 per couple. After we have finished eating, all are invited to meet at the football field in the end zone to watch our Hampton Bulldogs fight against Cloudland - one of our old archrivals!

Our second gathering will be on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at :30 PM on the patio at The Black Olive Restaurant located on Hudson Drive in Elizabethton. This will be a very relaxed evening to just catch up on old friendships and make new memories. Each attendee will be responsible for ordering their own meal and for paying for it before leaving for the evening.

So, whether you graduated with the HHS Class of 74 or were a member of this class somewhere along the line, you don't want to miss this event!  Please complete and forward the reservation form enclosed with your check made payable to “HHS Class of 1974” to Linda Little Baughman at the address listed below.
