In July 2009, I started my own In-Home Childcare business. After 2 years of struggling to find quality childcare, I had enough. This decision seemed like the perfect decision for me as I would get the chance to stay home with Brock and also do what I love most, work with children. I also get the chance to practice some of the early childhood techniques I'm learning in my education classes at ODU with the children here in my care during the day. I am working towards finishing my degree in Pk-6 education and look forward to obtaining licensure in the near future. I love being a mom...having Brock has really made my life more complete and I truly cherish the time we have together. I can't imagine my life without Andy and Brock...and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I wouldn't say I have a "favorite" school memory. I have fond memories of chorus and wonderful teachers. There are a few people from high school that I keep in touch with, but not many. I'm one of those people that answered "NO" to whether or not I would go back to high school. I don't believe in looking back. I always try to look forward and do my best to make sure that the story I leave behind is a positive one.
