WILLIAMSBURG - Kathryn Jean Hanson, 56, passed away Friday, Dec. 17, 2004. A native of Montana, she had been a resident of Williamsburg for the past 17 years. A historical interpreter for Colonial Williamsburg, Kathy was a graduate of the first four-year class at Christopher Newport University in 1971 and a member of Stonehouse Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 21 years, Oliver T. 'Ron' Smith, Kathy is survived by many loving relatives and dear friends. The services were private.
