
HAMPTON - Judith Anne Kaiser, 64, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012.
A native and lifelong resident of Hampton, she was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church. She had worked through the years for Slaughter Lumber Company, Benders, and the Phoebus Improvement League and was a member of the North Hampton Roads Woman's Club, member and past president of the Phoebus Woman's Club, the Hampton Democratic Woman's Club, the Hampton Democratic Committee, and the League of Women Voters. She was a licensed parliamentarian. At Emmanuel Episcopal Church, she was the head of the Church Periodicals Club and an active member of the Kaiser-Reese Circle among other groups.
She is survived by her brother, John Kaiser and his wife, Linda, of Hampton.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home. A memorial service followed by an inurnment service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church by the Rev. Catherine McKinney.
The family would like to thank the congregation of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, members of her social and political organizations, and especially Teddie Jo Ryan for the help and support given to Judy over the years.
