Earle was a close friend of mine; he was retired Air Force; from Ohio; also, before Kecoughtan, he had run the school at Langley Air Force Base; very smart man, also, he owned a travel agency in Newport News; Earle was well rounded and fine, highly principled man; a WWII vet, with great stories about the war in Europe, especially when he was stationed in North Africa and Italy; he had a wonderful family; we worked cooperatively on improving teaching conditions at Kecoughtan, which, of course, did not make us very popular with the administration
