That would be sweet, I'm all for it

Don't worry, we'd have no problems with Steve and Rod, I can lay a guilt trip on them like nobody's business... Cops wouldn't be an issue unless of course it's any of the newbies that I haven't had the "pleasure" of growing up with. I'm all for a mid-July reunion as well. But don't know if I much like the idea of it being at a golf course... I say we pick a field and see what happens :)

Micky Fokken

lol - pick a field! So does that mean we all will be riding in a horse trailer just like the senior party?

I'm good with July and the garage too.

It would be nice to nail down a specific date in the next month because our family is trying to line up a reunion at the same time so I only drive up to Iowa once. ...not that it's all about me of course. ;)

Golly, you guys are demanding . . . :). I am going to try to nail down a date . . . mid-July seems to be the consensus among those willing participators on the site. I think that the garage would be fun for either an after-party or a night before social kinda thing. I know that the golf course thing might feel kinda stuffy, but at least it might allow us to be able to sit and enjoy a meal?? Not trying to be so "traditional," just trying to make it as comfortable for as many people as possible, you know?

A dinner and seperate afterparty would be nice.

I agree, a nice dinner and an afterparty would be fantabulous. I say we have it on Febtober 35th.

I vote for Canada's independance day.

Mike - I listened to your band. It has a good sound my friend. The quality of singing and playing is professional too.

I think we should have it on Cinco de Mayo. Only August works better for me...and the 5th is no good...how about the 7th?

Wohlhutter, in the spirit of pictures from when we were younger, I added a winner to my profile. I encourage all to add a picture from your younger days to your profile! :)

HA! That picture is great. I'll have to dig to find a good one.

Are we able to add a poll on the front page on what weekend to do this? It seems that we about 3 or so for mid july and one for August.

Pete - I was just up there a few weeks ago and you're right, the weather was beautiful. I got to chill on my parent's deck in Persia with Megan one morning and the air was crisp, slightly cool and very refreshing.

Then I came up to the 100 degree dallas weather. Man the grass is sure brown down here.

I vote for July as well... I made it up this past June and I couldn't believe how much cooler the weather is compared to Florida!
I like the dinner/afterparty idea, too.

oh man, that pic of you as a kid, Micky, is awesome! I'm sure I have one somewhere...

I just wanted to let everyone know, I haven't forgotten about this site or the reunion! My life seems to be super-hectic, and I can't quite seem to get ahead of it. I will determine a date ASAP . . . sorry to leave you hanging in limbo! AND, I am going to try to get some more pictures uploaded here too. Anyone have any they want to share?

Christine, I remember when you won the "Fox Kids" prize and the teacher announced it to everyone. I secretly wished I had won it.

Okay, it seems some of you jokers have *said* you're coming to the reunion, but HAVEN'T SENT AN RSVP! You might think nobody noticed, but we're from a small town and that means we know a lot more than that about you! ; )Look, it's fine with us if you have a)somehow forgotten how to have a good time or b)never been the best with party etiquette. That's why I'm reminding you: for a good time on July 25th, RSVP NOW!

Friday night before reunion:

Anyone wanting to join in a pre reunion binge, let me know. we will be drinking at my parent's house. all are welcome to join. then the west side, etc.

PS - Brody Deren and Chad Plumb volunteered to pay for all your drinks.

Thanks for the great party Sara! Thanks Mike too for after hours at your parent's house! So good to see everyone! I had a blast! Only thing I regret is drinking some of that Clamato! Gross. Good rule of thumb: if it makes Todd Bladt sick, don't drink it! :)

re: Clamato--word. Thanks for a great bar-hop, everyone. Good times were had by all. Cheers!
