Lee was one of my closest friends up through high school. We spent a lot of time at each other's houses. I last saw him in a grocery store a few months before he died. He had Type 1 diabetes and when he was a kid he talked about how he would not live very long. His father died at 40. He was an only child. Lee was a great friend.
