Tamara Clemons Devorce

I have worked in the Administrative Assistant Field for years. But the Lord has called me to preach His Gospel. I am also married to a Preacher and have been married for 6 years. And it has not been easy, the spiritual warfare is unbelievable. But the battle belongs to God, I just need to show up for the fight.

I am currently a member of New Hope Christian Ministries here in Harford, where my Pastor is Donald Johnson, Sr. and we are having a God time in the name of the Lord. I sing in the choir and on the praise and worship team. I am part of the intercessory prayer team. I also am the lead host of a TV show broadcasting on Public Access TV channel 5 called C.H.A.T. (Christians Having A Talk) which airs 2nd and 4th Fridays at 6:00 pm. I am currently mentoring a beautiful young lady who is 12 yrs old and in the 7th grade.

So my life is full and I am blessed.

I came to weaver late in the year I believe Oct of 78. My family left harford and moved to Manchester, CT. Racial tension at that time was very thick at Manchester High, so that's when I left and came back to Weaver. Reason why I didn't walk across stage was at Mancheser HS you only needed 15 credits to graduate, and Weaver needed 18, I believe, so I had to go to summer school to get that extra credit. My diploma stills says class of 79.
