Marie Dreiling Froelich

After high school, I attended Fort Hays State, graduating with a degree in English. I got married in 1976, then started working for Golden Belt Bank in 1978. After almost 41 years, I retired on September 30, 2019. While at GBB, I started as a teller, then worked in various departments until I became a loan officer, specializing in home loans. I am a Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and belong to The Wonder Women's League, which is a group of women who have funded and completed many projects to help women and children in the community. I am also a board member for the Cancer Council of Ellis County. I have a lot of plans for my retirement, but sometimes I think I am busier now than when I was working. The only difference is that I can choose what I do each day. I have decided my mantra is "one day at a time", as you never know what life has in store for you.
