After working in the medical field for the last 35 years, I retired in January, 2015 from Kaiser Permanente. I was the Manager of Health Education Services.

When I left High School, I moved to the state of Washington and then Los Angeles. Served in the U.S. Air Force as a Medical Coreman. Once discharged, I went back to school and received my BS in Biology and my Masters in Education. Working with patients in the hospitals and teaching Health Education topics for Kaiser Permanente in Pleasanton. Now, I teach Science partime in the Middle Schools in the Tri Valley area of Dublin, Pleasanton and San Ramon. My passion now is my family, children and golf.

School Story:

High School was a mixed experience. A few close friends but I was very shy at the time and didn't make friends easily. Never made it to the Junior or Senior ball since I wasn't dating at the time and always felt I missed something special. The 60's were a hard time to be in High School. I remember the riots and fights. Police presence on the campus and having to be escorted back and forth to school...Best memories: the school dances, the TOC , live bands at lunch time and HH Football Games. Go Farmers!

Lana and I were good friends in HS and her older sister, Linda later married my older brother Lupe Ybarra. They also both went to HHS. Sorry of her passing at such a young age.. She had a great mother and dad.
