After marriage and 5 years of working at BOLD schools as a para, I went back to St Cloud State University and completed my bachelors degree in early childhood. I spent the next 16 years caring for many wonderful children in our own home and running a family child care business. Great memories were made with my own 3 children and many others that I will always cherish. During this time, I taught some evening ECFE in many surrounding districts; BOLD, GSL, and BLHS. Then one day, the Superintendent at BLHS called and said they were looking for an early childhood special education teacher. I was in this job for 5 years until the Early Childhood (PALS) preschool teacher/coordinator position opened up. This is where I have been for the past 4 years. Last October, I completed my masters degree in early childhood! I enjoy everyday of it! Young children are an inquisitive, adventurous, and are sponges for learning!
My own children are teenagers and beyond! Trey is 21, and working for a company out of St Could doing Land Surveying. Trent is in his 2nd year of college at Willmar Community college, and Tia will be a junior this year at BLHS.
Kevin works at K&S Millwrights in BL. We enjoy time at our cabin by Dassel in the summer, and watching our kids at sporting events.
