I first met Kraig growing up on Ewing Street. I lived in the 700 block on Ewing Street and Kraig lived at the end of Ewing Street across from the RB Drive-In.

Kraig and I were good friends in Junior High and High School. As we both departed for College we lost track of each other and it wasn’t until 10 years or so into our marriage did we get reacquainted. At that time Kraig and Sharon had a daughter (Kari) and we had an adoptive daughter (Paula). Both girls were in the same grade and went to school in East Helena. Through our daughters friendship we shared many great camping trips, boat outings, and horse related activities.

It just so happened that the 4th house that we owned in the Helena area belonged to Kraig and Sharon which we purchased from them when they moved to Deer Lodge.

Kraig, we love you dearly and you will be missed by Linda and I. You will remain in our hearts forever.

Mike and Linda Ryan

I got to know Kraig at Helena Sr. High when we were in several classes together.  Kraig's spirit of fun and ever ready smile were a draw to so many of his classmates who soon became friends.  Kraig, you will be sorely missed and always remain in my many fond memories of you.  Rest in peace, friend.

Kraig will be so terribly missed by so many people. Way too young to have passed. I loved his picture on the profile. He told us about Christmas in Ovando. Now it will be even more special.

So sad to hear of Kraigs passing, we were such great friends in high school. I will always remeber the way he loved to dance! At the civic Center he was the first to do the twist!  Dancing without touching your partner..wow! And as neither of us were in a relationship, we went to the Graduation Midnight Party together...had a blast, no drugs, booze or sex involved! Those were the days!! Rest in Peace my good high school buddy, wouldn't have been fun without you!  Patsy Humphreys Mosley

So sorry that our dear friend and classmate, Kraig, has passed.  He always had a smile for you.  Much too young!  Kraig and I shared the same birthday so we joked about that growing up.  I loved going in the drug store in the Larson Block by the Depot.  It was such a cute little store and his mom and dad were always there.  RIP Kraig - you will be so missed!

I have nothing but warm memories of Kraig, a happy person and our good friend!  As I have not seen him since High School he lives in my mind as a really sweet and cute 17 year old boy!   Just a great member of our class.  Prayers of peace and the comfort of special memories go out to Kraig's loved ones.   Leah Simmons Moats
