Worked for many years in various aspects of developmental disabilities: group homes, Montana Developmental Center, sheltered workshops. I've worked as a disability adjudicator for SSA under the direction of State of Montana and then State of Idaho. Life changes and work brought me to Boise, Idaho in 2003 and I'm still here. I retired on the day I turned 65; Idaho Disability Determination Bureau asked me to do some special projects and I work a couple days a week for 2 years. Fully retired in July 2014.

My life is quiet now with our daughters grown. I've returned to my passion of of watercolor painting (there are a few examples in my photos). Reading has always been a passion (hung out lots with Mr. Davidson in the library).

Sharon Robinson (Class 1970) asked me to marry her in 1980 and she finally realized the error of her ways in 2002. (Sadly, Sharon passed away in May 2013) Love the milder clime of Idaho, reading and chatting.

Greatly enjoy all class reunions and the 50th was the best yet despite losing too many of our friends.

Of course, graduated HHS 1964 and attended Butte Business College for 1 year. Loved living in Butte and school and when that ended; I enrolled at Carroll College in 1965 finally earning (??) a BA in Sociology in 1981. No one ever said we 'Boomers' were in much of a hurry. The good folks at Carroll were finally delighted to see me leave; then I returned for multiple visits as both our daughters attended and graduated from Carroll (Go Saints!). I spent more time in the Commons than in any class and was awarded a degree with a 1.46 GPA. This out of a possible 4.0...can one even graduate with that these days???

(Thoughts on reunion)

A warm June evening, 50 years so long past,
Classmates then, here once again massed.
What draws us back, the past now to fete?
High school memories, beginning life's estate.
Each 10 years we've come back again to renew;
Friendships of days old and memories to review.

Yearbooks lay open; all then black and white;
One day long ago there someone did write.
“It all was such fun and good luck to you;
Happiness and success in whatever you do.”
Look now at the pages in this frame of mind;
Did I make it happy, success did I find?

Music is playing, tunes from '64.
What worlds did await as we opened the door?
Commencement's a beginning, yes, I see that now.
It seemed an ending that June night so long ago.
Classmates chat and laugh; yes some shed a tear.
Our time here is brief; still we come to be near.

Why do we come here? What brings us again?
Let's gather in 5 years and not make it ten?
Fortunes and failures, some big and some small;
Those of us here, yes, we've survived them all.
As long as we're able; we'll gather as yore,
