JANIS HOKIN MORRIS

Have been married almost 42 years to a man I met in the Sandberg elevator. We have always lived in Chicago proper but still see many of my high school friends. Started my career as a writer both (ghost) for the Saturday Evening Post and Marshall Fields (wrote weekly column about Fields) for Where magazine. Worked as art dealer for LoGuidice gallery on Ontario and later with no retailing experience have owned and operated an appointment only boutique Janey's Uncommon Collection currently in the arcade of the Belden Stratford Hotel at 2300 Lincoln Park West for 32 years.

M S from Northwestern University's Medill school of journalism. Just remember the math teacher whose idea of showing his frustration with less than proficient students was to throw chalk at them and how each day I would sneeze so loudly 3 times in French class that the teacher would have to wait for me to stop before she could continue her lesson...this did not help my grade.
