Hi -- wondering how many others are staying at the Marriott Courtyard at 1505 Lake Cook Road? If so, several of us are planning to meet at the hotel bar this friday, late afternoon/early evening. ALL WELCOME!

This weekend was amazing and wonderful and profound, and a good part of it was due to the efforts and the good work of the reunion committee. Thank you all for all you did to make this happen. You did an incredible job.

Reunion was wonderful. Nice to catch up with so many people that I haven't seen in a very long time. Thank you to the committee for doing the work and making this possible for all of us. It was wonderful.

Echoing previous sentiments, thanks to the Reunion Committee for doing such a fine job.  Reflecting on the weekend, I'm grateful to have gone through our high school years with such a good group of people; it's inspiring to consider that we not only have warm memories of classmates to call upon as time rolls on, but active friendships to continue to cultivate and enjoy in the time remaining.

Top 10 Things I Loved About this Weekend

1.  Experiencing ALL of YOU.

2.  Reading Jerrold's post (it's on his profile.)

3.  Remembering all the good times your faces reminded me of.

4.  The stories.  Especially the back stories.

5.  Seeing the first person I ever kissed (sorry Harlan, it was John Preskill.)

6.  Bobby Saltzman doing Ricky Natkin doing Jeremy Irons doing Klas Von Bulow  ("Sonny didn't care for doctors, Alan")

7.  Seeing the really old childhood friends like Laurie Solgin -- who reminded me she staged a backyard photo shoot with an apple on my head, and a bow and arrow in her hands, poised, ready to shoot.

8.  Seeing so many of you that I maybe didn't know as well but KNEW you nonetheless -- like DNA.

8.5  Making new friends, Deborah Rade, many others.

9.  Experiencing the love I felt for all of you -- including many who were NOT there...like Toby and Laddy, Steve Borenstein, Marianne Newman, Cathy Brown, David Dolgin, Lee Nysted, Jeff Perraud, Raymond Dougherty, Walter Lemmon, Shani Kerman, others.

10.  Feeling especially blessed to have grown up with you.  Singing Blood Sweat and Tears with Nancy Lawton -- spontaneously and hypnotically.

11.  Having Don Altman offer to do surgery of any kind Saturday night.

12.  The fact that you accept my dsylexia.

13.  Seeing Phil so happy.  And Judy Mickelson so happy, and very blonde.  First female jockey in Kentucky.  She's got guts.  So does Bob Popke...who was graceful then on the football field, and is even more graceful now.

14.  Throwing rose petals at people...wish I'd had more...to throw at YOU.

15.  Realizing that Susie Lewin is so bouyant that she could be a Macy's Thanksgiving Parade float.

16.  What were your top 10, or 15, or 50?

Thank you all, especially the team who pulled it off, for such a fabulous time.  I will remember this for a long long time.

Julie
