I am saddened to hear about the passing of Maura Silverman. We dated briefly in high school, and remained friends for many years after. I was in New York in the early 1980's and met her for dinner in the Village. She was making it as an artist, though details escape me. She was an angel and I am sorry we did not keep in touch.
