Master's in Communications led to 40-year career as TV Producer and Writer in Boston and then Los Angeles. “Unsolved Mysteries” on NBC for its 10-year run, PBS, HGTV, A&E, etc.

Instead of retiring, I launched a nonprofit in 2020 called the Single Mom Project which provides $1000 grants to low-income, hardworking women in LA to help them get on steadier financial footing. (We recently honored 50 mothers.) The Single Mom Project Nutrition Pantry provides food every Thursday to 200+ people. And the Single Mom Project Book Drive collects thousands of books for schools without libraries in underserved LA communities.

Served as Parks & Rec Commissioner and Library Commissioner in Manhattan Beach, CA for the past 9 years.

My greatest achievements are my two sons.
