I had a quite a time growing up in a great town with wonderful people. I didn't realize how valuable a fine education could be. HP gave me that.
I was so saddened in July 2022 -the killings messed up my memory of HP.
But HP Strong... the town is recovering. Heart goes out to the families...
many of whom are well known. God Bless all the survivors!
I guess everyone was saddened by discovering evil is also in HP. I suppose I didn't know that until that event made history in a bad way.
Glad to be a happy and old retired ex-HPer in Brentwood California. Cheers!
Graduated January 1974, a semester early, so I lost track of many of you.
Facebook helps, but our family moved to near Oshkosh when I was freshman at
Northern (NIU) in DeKalb. SO I'm still alive and kicking.
50 is a big number. Wow. 67 is too...Kinda amazing eh?
Hope to be seeing some of you soon.

Boheenah! You are missed. You were always in the thick of it. Where are you now?
you should come to this, everybody knew you!!!
Bill was a fun guy. He become super well liked about 8th grade when he fell out of my backyard treefort. He broke his leg in two places. His being on crutches help him to meet most everybody. He was my BFF in 7 and 8th grades at Edgewood JHS. In high school, he took to the Budists and we didn't hang around after that. He spent most of his time with Jackie Saltzman I think. I went off to NIU and I heard he went off to Japan to get deeper into Buddas teachings; he came back but died of a heart attack about 2002, He was 47 I think. Bill was awesome - everyone liked him and his cool family.

You of all the kids at HPHS, seem to have lost more friends than anyone. I was friends with Bill and Susie and Delia. So just a note that you look a bit sad in the picture posted above, and I know why. All three of these friends were really great people. Lucenti didn't even get a chance at life, and Cerf was taken way too early. She was awesome. I didn't hear about Delia until I read your post today. She and Steve Dox and I use to pal around some with Bob Beck and Bill Scholar. Scholar died like 8 years ago (my best pal in7th- 8th at Edgewood) and I did, and maybe everyone, lost tract of Bob Beck and Steve Dox. Hopefully they are still with us. When Lucenti died, Scholar had a memorial "service" of sorts of at his house. Remembering that day, not even sophomore year, Paul Oelze and I rode minibikes over to Bills (2 blocks away), as we heard gunfire, to find cops and ambulance and the horrible news. Man, that day set me back. So my heart goes out to you. I was quite fond of Delia! I remember good times mostly, just not that last day of Bill Lucenti. When did Delia leave us?
