JoLynne and I grew up in the same neighborhood. My best memory of her was in Junior High. I was getting my first pair on contact lenses. I needed to go to Sugar House to get them and then spend most of the day walking around Sugar House and going back intermittently to the Doctor to get adjustments and encouragement for the discomfort. I think the hard lenses were harder to get accostomed to than the soft lenses they use today.
JoLynne came with me and spent the whole day with me. She was sweet and encouraging. We had a great time walking around and going into all the stores. She always seemed willing to help others and just wanted to be a good friend.
I think JoLynne had twin daughters when she died. I remember being so sad for her little girls.

JoLynne passed away November 1979 following an automobile accident west of Utah Lake. When she passed, her married name was Alder.
