Hey everyone.... I'm not sure where to post this since we have a Facebook page and a website, so I'll post it in both places.

I have an idea for the reunion I'd like to float out there for feedback:

I think we should have a raffle for donated prizes that go to a good cause. My first inclination is to any trust or foundation that's been set up for the children of our fallen classmates. It won't be a ton of money, but whenever this many people are getting together to celebrate I always try to use that opportunity to give something back.

What do you all think?

Another thing I'd like to organize:

My mom sent me a box of my old stuff, and I found all these composition books which were journals from Kaiser English classes. Reading through them, there is some super hilarious stuff in there.

Do other people still have these laying around?

I think it would be great for people to submit some excepts from their journals to be read over the mic at the reunion.

People should send me a message if they are interested in submitting something, and let me know if you want to read it, or if you want someone else to read it. It can also be anonymous if you want.

SEND ME YOUR PHOTOS!!!

Hey everyone...

I'm putting together the slide show for the reunion and I need your old photos. I've set up an email address that you can send the photos to:

kaiser89pix@gmail.com

Please send me the photos at a reasonably high resolution so that they don't look bad. Gmail supports large attachments so no worry!

(Lori: can you send this info out to the email list because I get the distinct impression that not that many people are looking at this message board)

Spread the word about our 20th reunion!

In general, statistics show that 20th Reunions are better attended than 30th Reunions, so come on out and let's have a great time at our FABULOUS 80's theme party.

Register today for the reunion and send in your payment so that we can start working with a budget to make this a super fun party.

Just an FYI for those of you wanting to get a room at the Ala Moana Hotel.....right now on the internet, you can get a kamaaina rate of $99 per night, or $109 per night for non-kamaaina. But they do offer military, AAA, and airline employee discounts, so check out their web site.
