Paul, Sr. was a great friend to everyone he met. He couldn't wait to join the Marines, so instead of graduating with his 1985 class, he took a GED and started serving our country in 1984.
He came back to Elmira, got married, and had two children. He was the Godfather of my Brother's two boys. He worked for the City of Elmira and was an avid hunter.
Paul left us way too soon on August 12, 2007.
His prayer card had this VERSE:
After Glow I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one, I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun.
