Daniel Ray Hassebrock

Been building large custom homes in the greater Houston area since 1974. Most are in the 4,000-8,000 sq. ft range. I am currently working on house #154 in the Bunker Hill area, but I have built some all over Texas in a 300+ mile radius. I also have had a roofing company for 24 years and "Ike" was a blessing and a curse. Need a roof or a house call me, all alumni get a huge discount! My #1 hobby is fishing with artificial baits for speckled trout, and the only thing I love doing more than that is spending time with the love of my life for 27 years, Brenda, or my 2 youngest kids Hunter and Haley! All 3 are truly Blessing! My oldest got married 3 years ago to a local boy, but she met him while he was in college in Florida. They acually live in my subdivision and that makes it handy. My wife has her own Chiroprator business for 20 years @ Fondren and Westheimer, and she is the best. All of us [incl. son-in-law] love worshipping at Metopoiltan Baptist church, and we all enjoy going on mission trips to other countrys! One of our alumni is a senior pastor there- Don Lee! My family loves the water esp. the beach, and my youngest 2 even have a love for skim boarding and surfing! [surprise] We all loe to travel and try to take 1 or 2 trips a year somewhere. I still enjoy hunting when time permits, but I have just about gotten too old to snow ski anymore to the great dissappointment of my son Hunter. But we have made up for it with alot of baseball for 6 years which I coached for 5 years. [great time] The last 40 years has been good to me and I wouldnt know it unless I look in the mirror or my body sometimes tells me to slow down!! I know that many others have not been as fortunate in health, business, and family, so I really feel Blessed!! Who would have ever thunk?

High school was still one of the best times of my life!
I still see Danny Brockermeyer regularly, and it is amazing that we went thru jr. hi, high school, and college togeather; and are still best friends.
I still talk to and see Jerry Maze regularly!
Gerald Brautigram and Pasty Foweler live in my subdivision and Gerald still runs everyday!
Bobby Beason has been a concrete salesman to me over all these years, but his health is really failing, to the point of not being able to work.
I talk to Jerry Doby occasionaly and larry Maze went off the deep end somewhere!
Ted Johnson live a quite life in Dallas and the last time I saw him was about 5 years ago .
John Hernandez lives in Arkansas and has not been in good health, and his Brother Jeff died last year.
Dan Brockermeyers Brother Allen died about 5 years ago.
These are all sad and remind us of how lucky abd fortunate we are to make it to a 40th reunion!
