Comments:
Well, right out of high school, I got married to my first husband, David and moved to Berlin, Germany for a year. He was stationed in the Army over there. When we returned stateside, I went to work at the University of Houston and attended classes. I worked there for 11 years and one of my jobs was to register all the athletes for classes --- which included Clyde Drexler and Hakeem Olajuwon --- that was alot of fun. I worked for Texas A&M after we moved to College Station (with my second husband, Tim) and then worked on a 12,000 acre ranch belonging to the very wealty family, the Benneton's from Italy. All my jobs have been as an accountant, which was my major in college and I have enjoyed every one of them.
I joined the Theatre Under the Stars for a short time after High School, and sang in many weddings for years. After I married my second husband, my music took a back seat while I raised my children and supported Tim's career as a professional artist.
I am a Breast Cancer Survivor and my life has been a wonderful adventure.
We are now living in a 106 year-old home in Somerville and are thinking of turning it into a Bed & Breakfast. I am currently working as the Controller for a Construction Company and my daughter is working with me. My son is the Head Manager of the Basketball team at Texas A&M and plans to be a Coach. Tim has a website and is in several galleries in Texas and New Mexico. He is working on a project to catalog the present-day cowboy.....lots of western paintings.
My daughter and I participate in local theatre productions and Tim and I are avid sailors.
